Michael Joseph Carroll, 48, was born on May 11, 1968 in Louisville, KY, and passed from this life on March 24, 2017. Michael was a heavy equipment operator for Koetter Construction Company, a catholic by faith, and an Army veteran. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Denise Terhune; a son, Nicholas Carroll; step children, David Terhune, Kayla Hunter, and Glenn Gruny; father Jeffrey Carroll; mother, Linda Carroll; brothers, Jason, Jeremie and Jeff Carroll, Jr.; sister Dawn Carroll; and a grandson Yancie Hunter. A service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held at 10 am on Monday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment with military honors will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3-8 pm. Memorial gifts may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
