Michael "Mike" W. Johnson

He was a graduate of Atherton High School, and the University of Louisville, and earned a Masters of Engineering from J. B. Speed School of Engineering. Mike was employed with Naval Ordnance Station in the Major Caliber Guns Division as a Mechanical Engineer for close to 40 years.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, James T. Johnson and Jonell Aaron Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Kathie F. Johnson, a son, Wesley M. Johnson, step-son, Bruce Turner and wife Terri, and a sister, Jamie Johnson Lott and husband Bill, Nieces, Kristina Megan Lott and Dr. Amanda Jo Marcellino and husband Eddie.

Guests are invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 3-7pm at Arch L. Heady – Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave. Louisville, KY 40206. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:30am on Friday, February 9, 2024 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle. Interment will immediately follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
