Mike was an Air Force Vietnam veteran, a retired engineer of Norfolk Southern Railroad, a member of Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Geneva Moore; his sister, Brenda Boston; and his loving wife, Janyce.
He is survived by his two daughters, Stephanie Vincent (Ronnie), Leslie Temple (Kevin); his brother, Carl (Sylvia); and four grandchildren, Shelby, Cody, Michael and Anna. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, with interment at Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington. Visitation will be held Tuesday November 1, 2011 from 1-8 p.m. and after 9 a.m. the day of the service.
