Michael Wayne White, 58 of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Mike was a U.S. Navy Veteran and worked at the U.S. Post Office for 32 years. If Mike was not working, he was spending time with his family and friends, playing pool, or fishing at his “Happy Place”, Nolin Lake. His close friends nicknamed Mike, the Blind Frog.
Mike’s brother, John William White, grandparents, Sophia and Leonard White and Eva and Ted Gibbs, preceded him in passing.
Here to carry on his memory is his parents; Elmer and Tonya White, his wife, Janice White, two sons; Walter and Brandon, one daughter, Sarah Cecil (Andrew), sister Theresa Harvey (Mark), two nephews, Trace and Dallas, three grandchildren, Scarlett White, Brynn Cecil, and Grayson Cecil, uncle Ted Gibbs and aunt Shirley Kelly and numerous cousins, along with his loyal pets, Max and Teddy.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 2-6PM.
A celebration of Mike’s life will follow visitation at 6:00pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home., 4400 Bardstown Rd. Louisville, KY 40218.
