Mike Barnes

Barnes, Mike, 68, entered into eternal rest on October 22, 2014. Mike retired from Ford Truck Plant after 33 years, and a member of the Liar's Club. He was a mechanic all of his life, loved NASCAR, Harley Davidson's, was a member of Harley Davidson Kentuckiana Chapter # 2032 and UAW Local 862. Mike was a veteran of the Army and a member of The Imjin Scouts in the 13th Engineer Battalion Korea.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Ann Barnes; and brother, Barry Barnes.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Kim Crowe (Scott), and Chris Barnes (Susan); grandchildren, Lorena, Isaac, Hannah, Joseph, Katherine, David, Audrey, and Ryan; siblings, Donna Gibson (Mike), and Steve Barnes; and niece and nephews, Matt, Jennifer, and Steven.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Home Instead and Hosparus.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday at 2pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 2pm-8pm at the funeral home and also Saturday from 12pm until service starts.
