He was a Navy veteran, member of Southeast Christian Church, member of the UAW and a Ford retiree.
Mike is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Spoelker and their son, Robert Spoelker.
He is survived by his children, Jana Holland and Doug Spoelker, sister, Doris Chandler, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his extended family, Pat Raper (Jack), Melissa Devers (Dennis), Leann Wortham (Rodney) Mike will be missed by his loving grandson, Chris Spoelker (Nici).
A funeral service to celebrate Mike’s life will be conducted at 2pm on Monday, February 15, 2016 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 2-8pm om Sunday, February 14, 2016 and after 10am the day of the funeral.
