Born to the late Joseph and Elsie Poole, Mildred is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, James E. Conn; and her siblings James Poole, Richard Poole, Helen Burkes, and Mary Lou Mills.
Here to carry on hr memory are her children, Mildred "Diane" Wilkerson (Estil), James W. Conn; Winifred Young, Alonzo Roy Conn, and Terry L. Miles; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mildred enjoyed yard work, keeping her lawn clean and neat, and word books.
A visitation for Mildred will be held on Monday, September 23, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM in Mildred's honor.
