Mildred Lorene Kiper Kiper-Yates

Mildred Lorene Kiper Yates 84 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday at the Christian Care Community, with her family beside her. She was born Nov. 7, 1926 in Jeffersonville, IN to the late; Raymond & Mae Kiper. She was also preceded in death by her brothers; Wilbur and Robert Kiper.

She is survived by her loving children; Joyce Ann Tilton (Donnie), Roger Dale Gibson (Betsy), Shirley Luker-Thompson (Philip), and Brenda Sue Frank. Her sisters; Hazel Liddell, and Mary Kiper, her brother; Kenneth Kiper. Her seven grandchildren; Tiffany Pahl (Randy), Melissa Pelton (Brian), Nicole and Gabriel Tilton, Dennis and Jessica Frank, and Erin Gibson. Her three great-grandchildren; Gracie Pahl, Lauren and Alex Pelton.

A service to Celebrate Mildred’s life will be held at 10 AM Friday at Arch L. Heady-Russman & Sons Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak St. with burial at the Duff Cemetery in Leitchfield, KY. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Thursday.
