Mildred Rae "Millie" Thompson

Millie was the ultimate wife and mother. She wanted nothing more than to spend time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all.

Millie is survived by her loving, devoted husband of 45 years, Thomas "Tommy" Thompson; her daughter, Tammy Podbelsek (David); three sons, Tommy E. Thompson Jr., Troy A. Thompson (Robin) and Trent E. Thompson (Carla); and by nine grandchildren, Tanner Thompson, Tatum Thompson, Sunny Podbelsek, Jade Podbelsek, Taylor Thompson, T.J. Thompson, Tyler Thompson, Ella Thompson and Parker Thompson; and by a brother, David Plappert.

Millie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Raymond and Mildred Plappert; and three brothers, R.G. Plappert, Jerry Plappert and Butch Plappert.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Arch L. Heady-Russman Funeral Home at 1201 E. Oak St. A celebration of life party will be held from 5-9 p.m. at the Mellwood Arts Center, Event Room #2, 1860 Mellwood Ave.
