She was born September 13, 1925 in Upland, Indiana, the daughter of Cloyd and Electa Caywood Dickerson, who preceded her in death.
She was a United States Air Force Veteran, having served as a weather forecaster.
She leaves to cherish her memory a sister, Willma Seward and husband Robert; one brother, Dale Dickerson; two nieces, Lori Seward and Vicki Binion; two nephews, Dale Dickerson and David Dickerson; a great-nephew, Alexander Dickerson and a great-niece Haley Dickerson.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday at the funeral home.
