Miriam Frederick, 93, of Louisville, passed away early on the morning of February 18, 2011, at Twinbrook Nursing Home with her sons by her side. She was the former Miriam Sutton and a native of Ashbyburg, Kentucky. Miriam was a member of Buechel Park Baptist Church since the early 1950's, where she was also their secretary.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years Arland Frederick, Sr.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Judy Thompson (Roddy) of Athens, GA; David Frederick (Nancy) and Arland Frederick Jr. (Marty) both of Louisville; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Miriam's Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, February 21, 2011 at noon at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road, with interment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. till service time at the funeral home.
