Born February 20, 1938 in the Lawrenceburg community of Anderson County, Kentucky she was the daughter of the late Marshall F. Yeager & Flora M. Robinson. Myrtie was a graduate of the Mercer County High School and was a retired Secretary for Smith Manus. Celebrating over 56 years of marriage, Myrtie married Frank Henry in Harrodsburg, Kentucky on February 19, 1966. She was a member of the Arcade Baptist Church since 1969. Myrtie was full of life and love. She loved to read & had a devoted love for her husband, daughter, grandchildren & great – grandchildren. She put others before herself and loved to bring joy to others, always positive with a loving and caring nature. Myrtie lived a full life, a life well lived!
Besides her parents, Marshall F. & Flora M. Yeager; her brothers, William A. Yeager & Michael L. Yeager; & her grandparents, Carl & Sarah Robinson, precede Myrtie in her passing.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Frank L. Henry; daughter, Terri Lynn (Mark) Steele; 4 – grandchildren, Kevin M. (Tara) Steele, Brian W. (Nicole) Steele, James D. Steele, Jessica M. (Chris) Downey; 12 – great – grandchildren, Kylie, Isabella, Baylee, Peyton, Hezekiah, Carleigh, Easton, Maddox, Abigail, Grayton, Maelynn & Campbell; plus, a host of other relatives, family & friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Myrtie will be laid to rest in the Garden of Christus of the Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. and then again on Thursday, December 8, 2022 from 9:00 until the Funeral Hour of 10:30 a.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
