She was born October 25, 1930 in Oldham County, KY the daughter of Oscar and Frances Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Forrest W. Abbott and one brother, Jimmy Wyatt.
She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Wayne Abbott (Debbie); grandchildren, Brian, Christopher, Jonathan and Catherine Abbott; a nephew, Tim Wyatt; and a niece, Elaine Faulkner.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Burial will follow at Middletown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
