

She joined the Massie Zion Baptist Church which is now New Covenant and remained a faithful member to the end. She embraced every change in her life, and there were many.
Nancy helped many people change their lives for the better. She lived a life of gratitude, not regrets, always happy talking about the Lord. She was filled with the spirit and loved her Church and her Deacon Ben. Nancy loved her radio stations WLOU and WLLV. You would hear her Praying and testifying of God's Goodness and Mercies. Lifting up the sick and shut-in even while being sick herself. Nancy never stopped praising God and giving him the Glory. At one time she was President of the Missionary, Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Prayer Team, Worldwide ministry and had several prayer partners. Nancy started a penny ministry at Massie Zion in now New Covenant.
She was a trusted servant of Bill and Bob with 45+ years of sobriety, who helped and sponsored many people throughout the years and turned their life around through the twelve steps.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moorman, three children, Sharlotte Pearson, Henry and Diane Glover; mother, Mattie Glover and father, King Rice; two sisters, Louise Jackson and Sallie Beasley, two brothers, Sonny and Ray Glover; a niece, Crystal Davis; brother-n-law, Wilbert Moorman, and sisters-in-law Lorene Toney, Jamesetta Hartman.
She leave to cherish her memory, her children, Todd Gilbert, Sr. (Frances), Peggy Glover, Theresa Hale (Kenneth) and Jerome Glover; sister, Sonny and Ray Glover; a niece, Julia Ellis (Dennis); a nephew, DuJuane Beasley; she leaves nine grandchildren, Mack Glover, Andrew Glover, Kenneth Hale, Jr., Porcha January, Deborah Garnett, Todd Gilbert, Jr., Elonda Colbert, Michael Gilbert, and Peace Gilbert; and a host of great and great-great grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Davis; sister-in-law Delores Pitts,Lavada Kent/Baker, Sharon Kent; two brothers-in-law, William Kent and Aaron Kent; step-children, Pam Evans, Carla Harris Antonio Moorman and Shirley Moorman; two nephews Tandy and Dallas; a great niece and great nephews, and a host of extended family that she loves very much. .
Her funeral service will occur Saturday, December 2, 2023 at 12:00 PM noon, 1190 S 40th St, Louisville, KY 40211. A committal will occur Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40160. Visitation for Nancy will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church, 1190 S 40th St, Louisville, KY 40211.
