Nancy Lou Payton Sumner, 76, of Louisville passed away October 1st at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was the Business Operator for Biff’s Gun World. Nancy was the Valley High School Class of 55 event coordinator, a Life member of the NRA, and the former show manager for the K.A.C.A. gun shows.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Walalee Payton, and a sister Beverly Tatum. She is survived by her husband of 54 years Biff “Jr.” Sumner, sons, Steven (Terri) and Kenny (Tracy) Sumner, daughter, Tracy Lynn Sumner, grandchildren, Chad (Erin), Keri, Stephanie, Payton, Lucas, Lauren Sumner, and Olivia Davis, great grandchildren, Navi, Caden, and Lily.
Her funeral service will be held 10:00 am Friday at the Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway. Interment will follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8pm and on Thursday from 10-8pm.
