She was born on September 9, 1940 in Iron River, Michigan and moved to Louisville with her family in 1971. She served in the army and worked as a proofreader and homemaker. Nola saw the world through a unique set of eyes, filled with awe for the world around her. Those close to her were honored to experience that world with her and witness Nola overcome any challenges life brought her. She was one of a kind, and will be greatly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tom Jean, Jr. and Kathy Easley (Paul); grandchildren: Holden Easley, Lucy Easley, and Olivia Jean.
Friends and family will gather in the Chapel at the Masonic Home of Louisville, Sam Swope Care Center, 3701 Frankfort Avenue, at 10 am, Saturday, March 10, 2018 to celebrate Nola’s life. A service will be conducted at 11 am with a luncheon to follow.
The family wishes to extend special thanks for the loving care provided by the staff at Masonic Home, who became like family to her during the 6 years she lived there.
