She was a member of Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Church in Fairdale, KY. Was a member of the Cursillo 89th Movement and a Kentucky Colonel. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles, dancing and was an avid UK Wildcat fan. She was truly loved by everyone and always had a smile on her face. Doted on her grandchildren and her great grandson.
Norma is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Case and her parents, Florence and Herman DeZarn.
She is survived by her son, Rick Smith, grandchildren, Stephanie, Valarie, Brittany and Ryan, great grandchild, Cameron. Siblings, Herman DeZarn (his wife and Norma’s best friend, Doris), and Patsy Wooten, brother-in-law, Fred R. Wooten.
A celebration of Norma’s life will be conducted at 2pm Saturday, November 8, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8pm Friday, November 7, 2014 and after 12 noon the day of the funeral.
