Norma Evelyn (Hermes) Martin, a devoted mother, sister and wife, passed away peacefully April 15, 2026, at the age of 94. She will be remembered for her deep faith and love of family and friends here in Louisville and in Florida.
Norma loved playing tennis, golf, and bridge. She started and maintained the shared library for 5 years at Village Crossings. She was active in her church community and bible study.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Norbert Louis Hermes, and Eva Hermes Streckfus, her three sisters, Joann Wright, Charlotte Guynn, Norberta Coffman and her husband of 65 years, Odie Martin.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Heller, her three grandchildren, Jennifer Procita, Shannon Custard (Matt), April Cook and six great grandchildren, Zeke Procita, Jasmine Procita, Mason Custard, Wyatt Custard, Lillyan Cook and Hunter Cook.
The memorial service will be Friday, April 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Village Crossing, 2400 Arnold Palmer Boulevard, Louisville, KY.
