HARTMAN, NORMAN H. JR., 80, of South Louisville passed from this life on Friday February 26, 2010 at his residence with his family by his side. He was a retired employee of the old L. & N. Railroad and a member of the Plumb Masonic Lodge and Ninth & O Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, the former Edith Gossett Hartman; daughters, Brenda Choate (Don) and Linda Perkins (Barry); sons, Norman H. III, (Lea Anne), Michael (Diane), Kevin and Charles Hartman (Tabitha); a sister, Geraldine Reed; 21 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Mr. Hartman's life will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
