Nevitt, Norman D. Sr., 77, passed away January 15, 2014. Norman retired after 39 years from LG&E and had been a member of Saint Rita Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his son Norman Nevitt Jr., granddaughters Angie and Lanie, parents Joseph B. & Reba Nevitt, siblings Randall Nevitt and Joyce Stiles. Norman left behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 56 years Theresa Nevitt, children Brenda Nevitt, Steven Nevitt Sr., and Beverly Nevitt, grandchildren Jessica Nevitt, Stephanie Smith, Stacey Nevitt and Steven Nevitt Jr. and great grandchildren Brooklynne Nevitt, Cameron Smith and Evilan Mills. He is also survived by his siblings Clayton Nevitt, Marlene Madrid, Rose Stivers, Deidra Craig, Kay Carter, Cary Nevitt, Mavis Robles, Rex Nevitt and Reid Nevitt and many nieces and nephews. A service honoring the life of Norman will be held Saturday at 2pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 11am-8pm at the funeral home and will resume Saturday at 12 noon until the start of the funeral. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
