Norman E. Slucher, 80, of Louisville. passed away on the morning of October 12, 2015 in the caring hands of Hosparus. He served in the U.S. Army, and was retired after 25 years of service from McGraw Hill. He graduated from the University of Louisville in 1958 where he also had played baseball. He taught school, coached baseball and football before he joined McGraw Hill Companies.
Norm was a lover and avid golfer, especially with his brother-in-law Sonny Watson, but he had a passion for all sports.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Ethelene Watson Slucher; daughter, Debra Lynn Triplett; brother, Harold (Barbara) Slucher of Akron, OH; sister, Jean Anne Slucher of Los Angeles, CA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be private services for Norman through Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road.
