

She was a secretary for the VBM Corporation for 37 years, and a homemaker who loved to cook, can and sew. She lived for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Quinton E. Sanders, Sr.
She is survived by her two sons, Quinton E. Sanders, Jr. (Virginia) and Thomas R. Sanders, Sr., (Diane); two daughters, Emma Hoffa (George) and Paula Sanders (Jeff); nine grandchildren, Robin Vance (Dennis), Tricia Wilson (Pete), Chip Hoffa, Thomas R. Sanders, Jr., Kelly Sanders, Joey Lee, Brian Lee, Amy Mitchell (Matt) and Quinton E. Sanders III (Ashley); four great-grandchildren, Maryn and Mylo Mitchell, Quinton E. Sanders, IV "Forester" and Brady Wilson; brothers, Raymond Harris of Richardson, TX, and Tommy Harris (Edith) Richmond, KY; one sister, Jean Bible of Bellevue, MI; and a former son-in-law, who was very special to her, Joe Lee.
A celebration of Opals's life will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. at the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home with interment at Walnut Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 1-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
