Ophus James Hornback, 80, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge Fortitude #47 and Hiawatha Missionary Baptist Church. Ophus retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service.

Ophus was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean Hornback; parents, Johnny and Molly Hornback; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Timothy (Sheri) Hornback, Todd Hornback; grandchild, Daniel (Sarah) Hornback; and great-grandchild, Jensen Xavier Hornback.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at 10 am at Evergreen Funeral Home with visitation being Thursday from 3 pm - 7 pm.

Memorial contributions in Ophus' name may be made to the American Heart Association.
