He was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and a native of El Salvador.
Oscar is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Sara Arauz, children, Rafael Arauz (Pat), Rina Arauz, Celia Greene (Randy), Oscar Arauz (Rachel) and Sara Striegel (Rick), sisters, Margarita, Quety and Rosa Maria. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A celebration of Oscar’s life funeral mass, will be conducted at 10am, Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 6500 St Bernadette Ave, Prospect, KY 40059 (502) 425-2210 with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 3-8 pm, Monday, July 29, 2013 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd.
