Oscar was born in New Albany, IN to Oscar S Jr. and Nancy Lee Bryant. Oscar graduated from the University of Louisville and worked at the alumni magazine for many years. He also co-founded Montage Creative, where he contributed to marketing and communications campaigns for Louisville institutions, big and small. Oscar shared two children with Kristina Bryant who were the light of his life.
Oscar was a creative at heart and was able to exercise his love of writing, art, and photography through his work. He was an avid sports fan and a lifelong lover of music. From playing guitar in a band in his youth to listening to records with his son, music was a constant throughout Oscar’s life. His unique sense of humor will be missed by those who knew him.
Oscar is survived by his children, Hannah Norris and husband Nathaniel of Cheverly, MD and Jeff Bryant and partner Kymber Ezell of Louisville, a new grandson, Oliver Norris, and his beloved family dog Roxie.
The family plans to hold a private memorial. Expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of a donation to Fund for the Arts: https://fundforthearts.org/.
