Sonny is survived by his wife, Cynthia B. Long, children: Otha L. “Lil Sonny” Long Jr. (Deonna), Delpheus Ellington, Gwendolyn Smith (Hayden), and LaTonya Griffith. Siblings: Theresa Burns, Abena Otudor, Jonathan Long, Jovita Morris, and George Samuels; four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Visitation to be held Wednesday, January 20 from 11:30-1:30 at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home 7710 Dixie Hwy., Louisville. Homegoing service immediately after at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, Radcliff, KY.
