Pal Ernest Ferrell, age 95, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. He was born on September 13th, 1929 to George Smith Ferrell and Eldee Ferrell in Wetumpka, Alabama. Ernest was a proud Army veteran and a beloved father, pawpaw, and brother.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, James Ferrell, George Ferrell Jr., Robert Ferrell, Ed Ferrell, Henry Ferrell, and Abraham Ferrell; and sister Ella Harding.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Erica Ferrell and Terrell "Terry" Anthony; siblings, Annie Ruth Lawrence, and Joe Ferrell (Cynthia); and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends.
A visitation for Pal will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway, Louisville, KY 40213, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Pal will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky.
