Pamela Dean Carty-Ends lost a valiant fight on July 15, 2017 and will be sorely missed. She loved life, her family, her fur-babies and friends. Born July 9, 1948 in Louisville, KY she moved with her family to San Bernadino, CA in 1951, and to Columbus, OH in 1965 where she graduated from Gahana Lincoln High School in 1966. Later moved back to Louisville and worked for Gaddie Eye Center for several years managing all four locations. She loved her job, the people she worked with and was dedicated to providing service and quality to all of her patients.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Thomas and Evelyn Carty. Survived by her husband Rusty Ends, they enjoyed a long, happy, adventurous life together. Also survived by her brother Tom Carty (Carol), nieces Katie Cutsinger (Adam) and Jeanne Peirce, nephew Patrick Carty (Susan), daughter Cheri Durrant (Bob), grandchildren Daniel and Alexa, Sister-in-law Deloris Peirce, Cousin Ron Uhl (Sue) and a large extended family.
Extra thanks and special love to her beloved friends and helpers, Bill Robey, Eddie Sulder, Dustin Coulter, all Bill’s guys, and David Zirnheld.
Pam, we will never forget your laughter, smile, fashion sense, cunning sense of humor and love for all humanity.
For those who wish to pay their respects or express their condolences, the family would appreciate contributions made to Hospuras, the Humane Society or Way Side Mission in Pam’s memory.
