Patricia Wilson Ballard, 83, known as Pat to her family and friends, passed away on October 19th, 2026, she was a lifelong supporter of the performing arts and an active member of Louisville's arts community.
Pat was involved with the Speed Art Museum, Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Louisville Orchestra, Louisville Ballet, and Kentucky Opera. She held season tickets for many years to Actors Theatre, Kentucky Opera, and Louisville Ballet, and particularly enjoyed attending the annual Speed Art Museum Ball.
A graduate of the University of Louisville Law School, Pat was also a devoted Louisville Cardinals supporter and a longtime supporter of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). She maintained a wide circle of friends and acquaintances throughout Louisville's social community.
Pat is survived by her son, William "Bill" C. Ballard III (Julie Truax Ballard); daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Ballard Lebhar; granddaughter, Brittany Lebhar Blackwell (Logan Blackwell); and great-granddaughter, Parker Elizabeth Blackwell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky 40206. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Louisville Orchestra.
