She was born on November 9, 1931, to Joseph and Virginia Hill. She was a very elegant lady who loved her family, cooking, and traveling. She retired from Louisville Plate Glass Co. and was a member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Susan Vetter Jones (Steven) and Robin Dodge Graf (Stephen); grandsons, Fred E. Grimm III, Parker and Christian Graf; sisters, Carol Walker and Jean Van Dyke; brothers, John "Butch" Hill and Jeffrey Hill; many nieces nephews and good friends, including very special friends, Bill Stone and Patricia Riney.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Forrest M. Dodge; as well as her parents.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 from 2-8 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on June 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 3054 Hikes Lane, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
