Patricia (Pat) Leach-74-of Louisville, was called home April 26, 2021, nineteen days after celebrating her 74th birthday. After giving thirty years of service, she retired from the United States Bureau of the Census, in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She was extremely proud of her time spent there; the many friendships she developed, the employees she trained and the meritorious awards she received, particularly the award that was presented to her during a ceremony in Washington DC. Patricia accepted Christ at an early at Coke Memorial United Methodist Church. Patricia enjoyed cooking, watching tennis, basketball and football. Pat looked forward to spending time with her six sisters at their monthly sister gatherings. She cherished time with her grandchildren and great-grandchild.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Sarah Mathis Leach and Oscar Leach, and her brother Thomas E. Leach, Sr. Patricia is survived by her two sons Don (Margo) of Louisville and Jason (Kemyia, his significant other) of Frankfort, KY, grandchildren Donovan, Donisha, Jason Jr. and Jasmyn, great-granddaughter Ja’Nia ,sister’s Margaret Green, Ann Beeler, Doris Rudolph, Madgelene Bargas, Emily Dolberry, Karen Diane Staton all of Louisville, KY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family has elected not to have any public funeral service.
