Patricia Ann McLemore

Patricia Ann (Fisher) McLemore, 80, passed away on Dec. 25 after a short illness. Pat, who was born Nov. 11, 1937, in Louisville, loved her family and friends and enjoyed attending church and University of Louisville sporting events. She was a proud Male High School graduate and attended Asbury College until she married William “Bill” McLemore in May, 1960. After raising four children and substitute teaching she went back to finish her degree at U of L, often carpooling to campus with her sons. She received her Bachelor’s degree in 1983 and taught English at several local Christian schools. She was preceeded in death by her beloved mother, Elsie Mae (Williar) Fisher Douglas. In addition to her husband of 57 years she is survived by their children Craig McLemore (Valerie), Kent McLemore (Terri), Lisa Thornton (Dan) and Loren Reni Beard (Robert); and grandchildren Samantha, Tyler, Ryan, Jared (Hillary), Abigail, Kayla, Madeline, Allyson and Seth.

A funeral service to celebrate Pat’s life will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, December 29, 2017.
