Pat was a faithful member of Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church where she also enjoyed her time spent with good friends in the Friendship Club. She, with her husband Kenny, had life long friends as members of the Termite Club.
Pat was a graduate of the University of Louisville College of Business.
She retired from Tube Turns after thirty years as a cost accountant.
Pat loved to work in her gardens and spend time with her large family. Her outgoing personality left a lasting impression on those she met. She will be truly missed.
Pat was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenny Hedges; Parents, Paul O’Brien and Mary Copler; brothers, Michael, Frank and Denny O’Brien; sister, Mollie Steffan.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Michael Hedges, Donnie Hedges (Cheryl),
Cherie Riggs (David), Diane Bunn and Patty Jo Ward (Steve). Also loved as Mamaw by 7 grandchildren and 13 & 1/2 great grandchildren. There are also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, half brothers and sisters and friends
To celebrate her life, a mass will be held Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 11:00 am at Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Located at 5431 Johnsontown Road 40272 with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Due to the pandemic, for those unable to attend, the Mass Celebration will be live streamed on Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church facebook page.
Memorial gifts may be made to Mass of the Air, Archdiocese of Louisville or Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
