Patrick Joseph Adams

passed away peacefully from this world on March 16, 2016, following a brief illness.

He was surrounded by his family who cherishes the love, gifts and memories he blessed them with.

Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he attended Saint Ann’s Catholic School and Cleveland Heights High School. He attended Indiana Normal in Indianapolis where he was a gymnast. Also, he attended Kent State University in Ohio and the University of South Carolina. His studies focused on math and chemistry.

He had a long time career with Akzo Nobel Aerospace Coatings where he was a dedicated employee. He was a member of NGAUS, SAE and Sampe International.

Loved and loving, he leaves a beautiful family and many friends. His sense of Humor, ready smiles and great enthusiasm will always be remembered and cherished. He had a love of working with youth and was an avid woodworker. The world is a better place for having him in it and he will be missed beyond measure.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and June Hesoun Adams; brother, Tim Adams.

Survivors include his cherished wife, Debbie Humphries Adams; 4 children, Dawn Adams Harr, Patrick Karl Adams (Kim), Aimee Hazle Reel (Aaron) and Lauren Noel Adams; 8 grandchildren, Alex, Joey, Claire, Gracie, Patrick, Kenny, Greta and Megan; siblings, Mike Adams, Kevin Adams (Ellie), Rev. Dennis Adams (Kathy) and Holly Heikell (Donnie); many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, March 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road. Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. also on Sunday. Burial will be at Cave Hill Cemetery.
