Patty Green

Patty was a devoted mother and grandmother, who took pride in her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook, sing her heart out, and play bingo as often as she could. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh, her unwavering stubbornness, and how strongly she loved those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, bravery, and an unmatched care for others.

Patty is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Green and Betty Thompson, her brother Paul “Jamie” Cesler, and her aunt Sue Webb.

Patty will continue to live through many loved ones including her children: Kelsi Mattingly, Mackenzie Mattingly, Jonathan Evinger Jr, and Landon Evinger; her grandchildren Jackson Nolte Jr and Sadie Nolte; Her siblings : Rebecca Goodwin (Travis), Rhonda Willock, Robert Green, Christina Thompson, Charles Thompson (Joy), Ashley Thompson, and Andrew Thompson (Amber); as well as a plethora of nieces and nephews that she loved as her own, and many friends and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made in Patty's honor to the American Cancer Society.

A visitation will be held for Patty at Evergreen Funeral home in Louisville, Kentucky on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 from 11:00AM to 3:00PM. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky.
