

Born on September 14, 1930, in Bandana, Kentucky, Patty's life was one of devotion and service, displaying the grace and tender care that touched all who knew her. She passed away peacefully in Louisville, Kentucky, surrounded by the love of her cherished family.
Patty was predeceased by her beloved husband, Forrest T. Holman, with whom she shared 45 years of marriage; her caring parents, Adron Hall and Lena (Jones) Hall; and her sister, Alice Lee Romaine (Harold). She leaves behind a legacy of love through her son, Dr. Stanley F. Holman (Peggy), and her daughter, Trish G. Satterly (Mark). Her grandchildren, Lauren Wimsatt (Josh), Chelsea Fowler (Brandon), Chris Latta (Ashley), Amanda Dutton (Gordon), Nathan Thomas (Jayan), Brandon Thomas (Tiffany), Payton Thomas (Melissa), and Shane Thomas (Allison), all of whom she adored, will carry forward her spirit of compassion and her thoughtfulness. Patty was also blessed with 17 great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy in her later years.
Patty dedicated 35 years of her professional life to AAA as a Domestic Travel Counselor. Upon retiring at age 75, Patty continued to be an embodiment of hospitality when she was named an Honorary Kentucky Colonel, an honor that she held dear.
A devout Christian, Patty was a committed member of Westport Road Baptist Church, where she found great solace and community. She lived her faith through acts of kindness, a listening ear, and the unwavering support she provided to her family and friends. Her interests included a love for travel, and she would often unfurl maps to plot out adventures for others, testament to her thoughtful and giving nature.
Family gatherings were Patty's utmost delight. As a doting mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she reveled in spending time with her descendants, always quick to praise their accomplishments and offer words of wisdom. Her pride in her family was evident in the stories she shared and the memories she treasured.
Patty's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of love, faith, and kindness. To be in Patty's presence was a blessing that radiated warmth and peace. As we celebrate her life and mourn her passing, we remember a woman whose spirit was generous, whose heart was expansive, and whose devotion knew no bounds. Patty will be profoundly missed, but the love she bestowed upon us will continue to be a guiding light in our lives.
Visitation will be held at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 7410 Westport Road, Louisville, KY 40222, on December 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The funeral service will take place at Westport Road Baptist Church, 9705 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY 40241, on December 12, 2025, at 12:00 pm, with visitation prior, starting at 11:00 am.
The committal service will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East, 11601 Ballardsville Rd, Louisville, KY 40241, on December 12, 2025, at 1:30 pm.
