Paul L. Rendleman

Paul was a very active Christian. He was privileged to be a charter member of the University Baptist Church in Carbondale, IL. In 1954, he accepted a position in the bank of West Frankfort, IL, while also serving in many capacities in the First Baptist Church. Paul was deeply involved with two churches in the Louisville area, Ninth and O, and Highview Baptist Church, where he served as the Director of Education and the Business Administrator. Paul also served his country in the Navy Air Corps during World War II.

He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Mildred "Jo" Rendleman, sons; Paul Stephen Rendleman and Daniel Bruce Rendleman, sister, Peggy Weiss and brothers Glenn and Bill Rendleman. He is also survived by a grandson, Daniel Paul Rendleman.

A celebration of Paul's life will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 3-8 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2013.
