Paul H. Thornburg, 59 of Fairdale, passed away Monday, June 20th 2016. He was most recently employed by Amazon and was educated and employed as a Mechanical Engineer for most of his working career. Paul served his country as a member of the Armed Forces. He was an active member of Cooper Memorial United Methodist church. His passions included sports, history, politics, and geography. He was preceded in passing by his parents: Dennis & Pauline Thornburg. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 27 years, Kirstine Thornburg; his sister: Denise Dorfman, his cousins, and his wife’s family. A memorial service for Paul will be held Friday, June 24th 2016, 11am at Cooper Memorial United Methodist Church, 9901 Preston Hwy, Louisville, KY 40299.
