Pauline J. "Polly" Tibbits Peterson 95, of Crescent Hill, passed away Wednesday, December 9th, 2015. She was born January 27, 1920 in Bemidji, Minnesota. During World War II, she was a tracer. Her memberships included Crescent Hill United Methodist Church where her faith was unshakeable, and the order of the Eastern Star. Her passion was art, and she was gifted in sharing her paintings with many friends. She gifted many of her art to UCHM, and her church for fundraisers. She was an award winning ceramist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Sterling Peterson.
She is survived by her 4 sons; Thomas H., Gordon A., Jon N., and Mark A. Peterson, her 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Polly's life will be held at 6:00 pm Sunday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady-Cralle, 2428 Frankfort Avenue. Visitation will be held 1:30 pm to 6 pm on Sunday.
