Peggy Joyce Gordon, our beloved sister in Christ has been called upon from Jesus to depart this temporary place here on earth to her gloriously eternal home in heaven. Now she can take endless walks, freely without assistance, on the beautifully golden lined streets spending time with her family and friends.
The first-born daughter, to her adorned Father Bill Henninger and Mother Lorena Henninger, on September 15, 1942, passed away December 22, 2025, at the age of 83. Peggy is also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Johnny Gordon, and her brothers Tommy and Steve Henninger.
Here to carry on her memory are sons, Bill “Tal” Bloyd (life partner Jenny) and Jack Gordon (wife Julie), her grandchildren, Nathan Bloyd, Brett Gordon, and Shea Tucker (husband Robert), her siblings Sue Wisman, Kathy Duncan (husband Ronnie) and Pam Henninger along with several precious nieces, nephews and cousins that meant the world to her.
Peggy's love and kindness touched everyone she met, her heart of gold and delightful smile lit up a room whenever she entered. She had an extremely playful nature and was the first to come up with fun shenanigans. Her laughter that was so contagious you had to join in. Peggy worked at Enro Shirt Company and was co-owner of Pegasus Paper & Supply. She volunteered at New Silver Heights Bingo, enjoyed watching Cincinnati Reds baseball, but was an avid Jeff Gordon fan, a driver in the NASCAR series, along with her favorite basketball team the University of Louisville Cardinals. She also loved spending time in her Florida Home.
She was passionate about spending time with family but was at her happiest going to the children’s sporting events, watching and cheering on from the sidelines. Her favorite pastime was watching family and friends swimming in Johnny’s pool. She was incredibly selfless, giving and providing to fill the wants and needs of everyone.
In her lifetime she had numerous pets, but she truly missed her loyal companions, Bodie and Sweet Pea. The family appreciates the generosity of love and support provided by her caregiver Shelley Brown and next-door neighbors, Jimmy and Angie Morgan. She will be missed by everyone that ever met and loved her, but now she will spend Eternity resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
