She was a loving daughter, wife and mother, who dedicated her life to God and her family.
Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, John Lewis Martin and her parents, James and Grace Canupp.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Elaine Ries (Fred), Amanda Trent (Darrell) and Sharon Barr-Isgrigg (Michael); grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan and Jeremy Johnson, Adam and David Trent, and Devin and Ryan Barr; and two great-granddaughters, Amber and Brittney Johnson.
Her funeral service will be at noon Wednesday at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Hwy., with interment following in Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until noon Wednesday.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Highview Baptist Church or the charity of choice .
