Peggy Jane Spears, 75, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023. She was born to Amos Elwood Childress and Zelma Allen Chapmen Childress in Pulaski, Tennessee on April 20, 1948. Peggy was a seamstress and loved spending time with her family.
William Edward Spears, Peggy’s husband of 54 years, preceded her in death.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sean Spears (Sonya) and Veronica Vittitow (Keith); grandchildren, Kaylee and Logan Spears, Stephen Hall, and McKenzie Vittitow; siblings, Jo Ann Davis, Sandra Tiller, Norma Clifft, Faye Parks; in-laws, Tommy Carr (Pam), Patricia Carr; loving nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 10am until the time of the funeral service at 1pm at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home – Okolona - 8519 Preston Highway, 40219. Interment will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
