She retired from Bell South after 37 years, she was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers and Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Brown (Ron); grandson, Mitch Brown (Wendi); and two great-grandchildren, Becca Masters and Katelynn Brown.
A celebration of Peggy's life will be held at noon on Saturday at the O. D. White & Sons Funeral Home with interment at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 1-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family would like to give special thanks to Hosparus and all of their family and friends who helped take care of Peggy.
