Reverend Philip P. Krause, 91, of Louisville passed from this life on Monday February 25, 2013 at The Forum at Brookside. He was a native of Chelsea, MI., a member of Faith Community United Church of Christ, and was a retired minister having served in several church’s including, St. Paul’s Evangelical Church in Jamestown, MO, and a yoked parish church, St. Peter’s Evangelical in Pleasant Grove, MO., St. Paul’s Evangelical Church in Marshall, OK, St. Paul’s UCC in Monee, IL, Zion UCC in Peru, IL, and St. James UCC in Louisville. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Peggy McGee Krause. He is survived by his daughters, Susan Wells Krause, Kathy Learn (Brad), Kimberly Clements (Steve), and Carol Krause (Jeff Baize); grandchildren Dr. Chris Learn, Tim Learn (Mandy Schott), Danny Clements (Michelle Kummer), Tori Clements, and Chris Baize, and very dear friends of 69 years, Bill and Libby Koshewa. The family would like to thank the staff of The Forum for the excellent care given to their father and especially to the “A” team Vilma Stasko, Schrhonda Johnson, Karen Flanigan, David Moore, and Bernie Webshet, and a special thanks to Home Instead and Robin Lovett. A service to celebrate Reverend Krause’s life will be held at 12 pm Saturday at St. James Church, 3535 Taylor Blvd. Burial will held at a later date. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Friday at the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. and after 10 am Saturday at the church.
