Philip Tucker

He was born in Louisville on January 25, 1943 to the late Willie Preston and Mary Elizabeth (Shreve) Tucker. Phil loved thoroughbred racing, fishing and aliens.

He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Paulette Tucker; and siblings, William Preston Tucker, Fanny Beth Tucker, Mary Catherine Tucker Smith, Rebecca Moss Tucker Gibson and Rhea Shreve Tucker.

He is survived by his son, Philip Lee Tucker (Kristi); daughter, Kimberly Ann Allen; step-son, Jeffrey Johnson (Becky); grandchildren, Michael Anthony Allen, Keith William Allen (Meaty), Philip Nicholas Tucker (Michaela), Bryan Johnson, Benjamin Lee Tucker, Matthew Johnson and Mary Catherine Johnson; great-granddaughter, Bonnie Olivia Allen; brothers, Herman Perce Tucker (Jo) and Thomas Garland Tucker (Sandra); sisters, Nan Lee Woods and Elizabeth Ann Houchens; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

Funeral service will be at 2 pm on Monday, July 1, 2024 at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
