Phillip Samuel Hanna, Sr.

Phillip was born on June 30, 1943 in Cleveland, OH. He was one of six children born to the late Michael Hanna and Camella (Karem) Hanna. Phillip was a business owner, insurance salesman, and the long time manager of the Lebanese American Club.

Phillip lived a life of integrity and service to others. He took pride in being a caregiver, family man, friend, and leader in his communities. He loved his family, old Westerns, horses, and The Cleveland Browns.

Phillip was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judy; his brother, Bob; and his sisters, "Tootsie" and Mary Louise. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Wendy Sims (Bob) and Phillip Hanna, Jr. (Adrienne). Phillip was also blessed with five loving grandchildren: Bryna, Sara, Evan, Ryan, and Jake.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, at St. Michael Orthodox Church, 3701 Michael Church Dr., Louisville, KY, 40220. A funeral service in Phillip's honor will follow on Friday, June 26, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at the church.
