Walls, Rachel C. 89, passed away July 30, 2012. Rachel had been a faithful member of Hedgeville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Ray Walls, son Howard “Sonny” Hixson and siblings Herman Barnett, Howard Barnett and Hazel Wooten. Rachel left behind to cherish her memory her siblings Harold “Happy” Barnett (Charlotte), Homer Barnett (Dot) and Harlan Barnett (Joyce), grandsons Dale, Troy and Jeffrey Hixson, great grandson Zachary Hixson and many loving nieces and nephews. A service to honor the life of Rachel will be held Friday at 12pm at Evergreen Funeral Home in Louisville. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8pm at the funeral home.
