

Miller, Ralph Irwin Sr., 77, passed away August 15, 2016. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Zonton Fire Department in the 70’s and 80’s, volunteered with the American Red Cross and retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years. Ralph loved to play golf, corn hole and horseshoes, competing in several tournaments. He was an avid John Wayne fan and loved UK basketball.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Jo Ann Miller; parents, William and Elizabeth Miller; and brother, Bo Jack Shireman.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Diane King Miller (Ricky), William “Billy” Miller (Bonnie), Ralph I. “Buddy” Miller Jr. (Melissa) and John Miller; 16 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Miller (Betty); sister, Francis Hellinger; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 12 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1 pm-8 pm at the funeral home.
