Ramona Hurt, 84, of Louisville passed away January 10, 2013 at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was born on November 19, 1928 in Edmonson County to the late Cuba Huff and Nova Embry. She was retired from Brown and Williamson.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Louis Hurt; two brothers, Judson Huff and Donavan Huff; and a sister, Yuleen Sweets.
She is survived by two loving daughters, Carolyn (Al) Nuaimi and Diana (George) Gonzalez; two grandchildren, Chris (Cristin) Gonzalez and Eric (Jennifer) Gonzalez; four great-grandchildren, Grant, Zane, Reagan and Finn; four sisters, Corene Geary, Morene Jekel, Alline Stevenson and Delilah Reynolds; and two brothers, James Huff and Kenneth Huff.
A celebration of her life will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 3-8 on Monday at the funeral home.
