Dear Jackie, Toni and Bobby,
I was so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I grew up on Maple Way across the street from you guys and your family and home were a big part of my childhood. From my point of view your house was like Disneyland, with a playhouse with kid size appliances and plastic food and a pool and more Barbies and Barbie clothes than I could ever dream of, not to mention the nearly weekly summer trips to the lake with boats and skiing. Alice was lucky enough to go with you sometimes and I was so jealous but I was really too old to be a playmate. I did get to go once! I so distinctly remember your mom holding court on summer days from her wooden swing, a cigarette in one hand, a Tupperware glass of ice tea in the other, one leg under her and the other one swinging like crazy to make that swing go! I can still hear her laughing and cursing! She was so funny. I remember some of her pet names... Toni was "Ri-Ri", Lassie was "Lah-Lah"... and I can still hear her yelling for Bobby to come home after a summer day on his bike, her voice sounding across the subdivsion. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. It's so hard for me to believe such a wonderful, bigger than life personality is gone. I met her again later when I was an adult and she was working at JADAC and she was serious and focused on helping people with addictions. I didn't really know that person. I am so sorry that she is gone and that you and the world have lost such a special person. I hope that she was happy. I have not seen you guys in years but I hope everything is good for you. I will never forget your mom.

   You did not know me, but I was a good friend of your mothers in high school.  We had not seen each other for years and it makes me sad to know that I didn't keep in touch or have the chance to tell her Good bye!  I'll always remember our friendship.  You have my deepest sympathy.  God Bless You.
